Welcome to Burt Clinic of Chiropractic

Dr. Mickey and his wife Karla founded the Burt Clinic of Chiropractic in 1974 after graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic. Dr. Burt is a current member of the Iowa Chiropractic Society (ICS), American Chiropractic Association (ACA), the Palmer College President's Club, Palmer College Heritage Endowment Society, International Chiropractic Knights of the Round Table, the International College of Chiropractic, and is a Board member for the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress. He also serves as the Executive Director for Alumni at Palmer College of Chiropractic, and has lectured extensively across the U.S. and internationally for the college, and other organizations.

Joined his father in practice in 2001 after earning degrees from St. Ambrose University and Palmer College of Chiropractic.  Dr. Chad Burt is a current member of the Iowa Chiropractic Society, the American Chiropractic Association, the St. Ambrose President’s Club and the Palmer College President’s Club.  Dr. Chad Burt is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP), a Certified Golf Fitness Instructor with the Titleist Performance Institute, and performs D.O.T. physicals through the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners. 

Dr. Chad has served the Iowa Chiropractic Society as a district officer and on several insurance advisory committees.  He has lectured on the topics of sports injury, concussion, golf body-swing mechanics, spinal radiculopathies, and the evaluation and treatment of positional vertigo.  His awards include: Fellow in the Palmer Academy of Chiropractic and Walcott Outstanding Community Service Volunteer award.

Dr. Chad and his wife Kris have three children: Dillon, Layton and Makenna.  When they are not attending their kids’ extra-curricular activities, they enjoy traveling, boating, skiing, golfing, and home remodeling projects.

Joined his father and brother in practice in 2002 after earning degrees from the University of Colorado and Palmer College of Chiropractic. Dr. Bradley is a current member of the Iowa Chiropractic Society (ICS), the American Chiropractic Association (ACA), and the Palmer College President's Club. He is a past-president of the Iowa Chiropractic Society, and serves on multiple ICS committees. He is a past board member of the Iowa Chiropractic Education and Research Foundation (ICERF), as well as an officer of the Quad Cities Journal Club (a multidisciplinary consortium of area physicians who share and critique relevant research topics affecting today's health care).

Dr. Austin Burt joined the practice in 2012 after earning degrees from the University of Northern Iowa and Palmer College of Chiropractic. Dr. Austin is a member of the Iowa Chiropractic Society (ICS), the American Chiropractic Association (ACA), and the Palmer College President's Club. While at Palmer, Dr. Austin served as a class officer, was a member of the Palmer Student Alumni Foundation, and was the student ambassador to the Palmer Center for Business Development. Moreover, Dr. Austin helped shape the Center for Business development from conception, through construction, and into implementation. Dr. Dennis Marchiori, Palmer College Chancellor, stated, 'While at Palmer, Austin lifted many 'heavy loads' for us, and we are excited to have him as an alum. He represents the best that we can expect from our graduates.'
